that continues to grow in popularity across the UK and now the globe.
It is undoubtedly the easiest partner dance to learn and is taught in a fun and informal atmosphere. An essential element of a class is the frequent changing of partners. This means you can come with a friend or on your own and you'll get to dance with lots of different people. |

It has grown out of the French style jive which continued across the channel after the 1960's during which partner dancing effectively died in the UK. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| The basic dance is built upon a few basic moves, but it borrows from other dance styles and there are now over 500 documented moves that can be learnt. |
